To ensure your orders are processed in the fastest time possible with the least amount of problems, please use the following guidelines when preparing data files for output.

APPLICATIONS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXpress, Powerpoint and Acrobat PDF in either MAC or Windows formats.

FILE PREPARATION:
Files should be sized at 100% output size. If files are provided at 1/2 or 1/4 output size, be sure that the files are proportionately scalable to the final output size. A supplied hard copy proof of each file is always recommended.

All non vector placed or linked files, ie., tiff, psd, eps or jpeg files must be provided at least at 100 dpi at their full output size. For example: a 12" x 18" tiff file placed in a 20" x 24" poster graphic must be provided at 100 dpi at it's full output size of 12" x 18". If the tiff file to be placed is provided at half size (6" x 9") then the file must be supplied at 200 dpi to achieve full resolution at 100 percent output size of 12" x 18".

Non-vector (Raster) files containing text 12 point or less should be provided at 300 dpi at full output size

Please include all placed or linked files with your data. Embedding files will produce adverse results.

Please provide editable files when possible.

For graphics that require bleed, please provide at least 1/4" bleed all around live area.

FONTS:
Please convert fonts to paths whenever possible. Otherwise, please include all printer and screen fonts.

OUTPUT DEVICE FILE REQUIREMENTS:

LIGHTJET PHOTOGRPAHIC OUTPUT:
Files should be a minimum of 100 dpi and a maximum of 300 dpi at 100% output size. Non-vector (Raster) files containing text 12 point or less should be provided at 300 dpi at full output size. RGB mode is sufficient for files that are strictly photographic in nature. Files containing PMS or CMYK colors should be provided as CMYK files. The LightJet can output true photographic papers and films up to 50" wide x 120" long.

SEIKO SOLVENT INKJET:
CMYK is required. Files should be a minimum of 100 dpi and a maximum of 300 dpi at 100% output size. Non-vector (Raster) files containing text 12 point or less should be provided at 300 dpi at full output size. The Seiko can print on a variety of rollable materials up to 102" wide x unlimited length.

UV FLATBED OUTPUT:
CMYK is required. Files should be a minimum of 100 - 150 dpi at 100% output size. The printer can print directly to rigid and rollable substrates up to 84" wide.
Pantone Colors are always converted to 4-color process.
